The HIMS program is a partnership between you, your pilot union, and the FAA. Our practice provides the structure, oversight, and reporting required by the FAA to support a successful return to flying status.
The HIMS Step-Down Plan
The journey follows a structured, multi-year pathway with four distinct phases. Progression is based on compliance, individual evaluation by HIMS professionals, and FAA review.
Initial Phase-1:
Intensive monitoring, aftercare, and HIMS evaluations.
Early Phase-2:
Continued monitoring with monthly assessments.
Advanced Phase-3:
Reduced monitoring frequency as stability is demonstrated.
Maintenance Phase-4:
Long-term maintenance with minimal required monitoring.
